Default choosing a case

hi im looking to buy a clear case or something similar . how do i go about knowing if it will fit my computers internals in?

What size board do you have? atx, matx?

When looking at the specs of a case it will state what size boards will fit.

I don't know why you would want a clear pc case as they can get damaged very easily....

im a toll noob to comp building , have had laptops for years but i recently got given a free HP pavillion a708.uk
so figure maybe i can pimp it a bit as its old and tired (2004) how do i find the size of the board?

if you want a case that will fit everything you could get a mid tower... or a small tower really any case i would go with this one it is really good
