checking video slot

how might i check what kind of video slot is in my computer? i know there is one but im not sure if it is pci-e or Agp

considering you got a socket 754 sempron 2800 its most likely agp , but theres nothing wrong with making sure download everest http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html get into motherboard-->motherboard and look in "expansion slots" field down

open your case. if you have a brown slot, offset from the many white slots at the back, then you have AGP

. ok, so i opened my case, and saw the offset brown slot, so i guess its agp for me.

. also aliasaid, how much did u pay for that value ram?

well i bought it like last year.. here in canada i paid $120.. it should be much cheaper now.
