Thought I'd post this, very good barebones for $99 (after $55 rebates) from Tigerdirect, I believe this offer is good only thru today (tues). Just bought one for my little brother, gonna get fill it up and get him a nice pc for once. Seems like a good deal for anyone looking at a pc that's on the lower end side.

My little brother's got my hand-me-down p200 system, I really wanted to get him something he could use for school, games, etc. for a while before I move out. The p200 struggles to run just Windows 98 and it can't be upgraded at all, so this plus a few extras I've got laying around should be just great for him.

The computer is worse than what you get from Dell other than:

- You get a metal case, not plastic

That's like saying my 11 year old needs a 4800 x2 with a 7900GT for playing roller coaster tycoon 3... I think not! (even though my kid does have better than this... but that's another story)
