i could fit a cheap cd-rom drive in there if you need one the mobo has integrated graphics so you have to live with it.oh and a 3 dollar case fan too

are you talking about the mobo with integrated graphics, rofl thats not a graphics card you can just disable it

lemme put this into a summary for you.

1. For $170 u won't be able to do any video editing efficiently
2. If u boost it up to like $200 u can get some nice stuff
3. If he just wants to do e-mail and basic crap why not use the old case and old parts and just get a mb, proc, mem.
4. On-board video in not a video card..hint hint onboard
5. As long as it's basic programs he can do it with the post from zero, but just remember it is only basic.

In my opinion just get it as an x-mas gift and everyone throw in some money.

Also you came to us for help, we helped, and u got mad....wtf is wrong with the picture...anyway...good luck and i reccomend not building a computer for $170....it won't run anything but the basics and basics mean just that uber basic

Again, you guys aren't reading everything. The comment about the video card was to pzerofgh, when he included it in his first 'price quote.' Then I mentioned to Matt that I was using my old AGP video card, so that if he wanted to, he could look for a motherboard without integrated graphics, because that might open some options and be a little cheaper.

You guys are too quick to judge, and, frankly, too stupid for me to waste my time with. I don't need your insults and unnecessary comments. I was just trying to give some guidance, so that you could help me better.
