a challange...build my pc..

Ok. So im getting a new pc and i was wondering if anyone would help me spend my money?

Here's what I want...

Motherboard....im not really sure, just something good for games...like battlefield 2 and stuff like that.

Processor...Preferabally an athlon 3000+ processor

Hard Drive at least 80 gigs

Ram DDR 400 512k

Video Card, decent. once again, has to run battlefield 2 so my mmx440 wont cut it.

case, boy i'd like to have a light up neon case...they look sweet.

OH, and a DVD writer on there....

A speaker system if possible....just anything really

did i miss anything?.....

I already have mouse, keyboard, monitor ect. I just need a system with all of the above. Oh yea, and clean HD, no operating system...unless it just comes with one?

So who can spend my money for me? who can go the lowest?

was looking close to 700 bucks but would like to spend less...if possible...

reccomend msi mainboard. minimum of 6600gt but probably 6800gt video card. id also say that for the small difference in price between 3000+, 3200+ and 3400+ you get a 3400+. well ok its not that small a price difference but it is relatively small.

3400+ for Socket 939 were an OEM only very uncommon processor that was exactly the same as a 3500+ of the same core type. Their is no way in **** you can ever find a 3400+ anymore for Socket 939.

dont know what core they are...whatever... the point is the price jump
