I have just replaced the motherboard in a Sony VAIO but the new motherboard doesn't have a connection for the VAIO's built in flash card reader. I'm wondering if the card reader is actually USB with a weird connector or if it's something else. If it is USB then I can easily re-wire the connector to fit the motherboard. Has anyone by chance done this before or have any help on it? It would be great to get this thing back to working.
