How hard is it to build a laptop? Are you any good at doing this? Where did you learn it from? Is it worth building for price reasons? These are just a few questions that I ask you techies, If you about this stuff then you should be able to answer this easily.

You can only get Laptops as Barebones so it is easier. For a performance Laptop, its cheaper to build. But for gaming and low cost Laptops prebuilts are cheaper.

All true. Personally I think that building a laptop has the potential to be such a big pain in the *** and more trouble than it's worth that you should just consider buying a prebuilt or custom one from HP or Compaq. Very good prices, decent enough quality, and unless you're trying to get an Alienware type of gaming laptop, good options as well.
