lilrayray69 Virgin Techie Join Date: Nov 2009 Posts: 1	Building an AM3 System. I'm upgrading to AM3 and ordering some new parts (mobo, ram, cpu, psu) and want to keep it around the $500 mark. Here's what I've picked out so far: AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition Callisto 3.1GHz ASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3 OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ700MXSP 700W OCZ Obsidian 4GB (2 x 2GB Western Digital Caviar Black WD5001AALS 500GB all for about $450 I have an Ati HD 5770 so I don't need to worry about a video card. I want it to last a few years and do well in new games. What do you guys think? I just want some more opinions before actually buying. Any recommendations over what I've got so far?

with this combo, you could squeeze in the x4 945 quad.
