Build for a friend

My friend has been without a computer for months and he needs one. I'm trying to convince him not to order a Dell or something. So I'm going to offer an idea of what he can get. I want it to be under $300 and no need for monitor, OS or optical. He does zero gaming, at the most online poker. He does no overclocking and I would like a decent motherboard to keep his options open for a future processor upgrade.

This is what I thought up:

Or I was thinking AMD route. Everything but the cpu & mobo are different:

might want to get this PSU instead,

but every thing else looks good. if it were me i would go with the intel build

Those power supplies look good. I'll consider those.

What about the E5200 vs. 7750 at stock speeds? Seems like the 7750 at stock clocks is slightly faster with its L3 cache.

Go with the AMD setup. The onboard GPU for the AMD setup is much better (HD3200vsGMAx3100). It will just make for better experience if he does want to move into some things.

7750 is better at stock. AMD setup would suit your friend well.
