I am working on a new build for my friend. It will be used for moderate gaming and school work.
Here is the Configuration i have so far

-GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

I originally had the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L Mobo
Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX All Solid Capacitor Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards
but it got deactivated on newegg while i was shopping is the replacement i have a good replacement or should i look for a different mobo, should i try to find it somewhere else?

i am also having problems decideing on a power supply because the original one i had a rosewill was being reported as not working with my previous mobo however with the new one it might work better.

All comments and suggestions appreciated.

that looks like a great deal however that is PCI E 2.0 x16 and my motherboard doesnt support PCI E 2.0 or does that not matter?

It does not matter. All PCI-E 2.0 video cards are backward compatible with the older PCI-E motherboards.

This uses a newer chipset, and is worth the extra cash

yea, but that use's DDR2 1200, and that is very expensive, is it possible i can use DDR2 1066 instead to try to save money?

You can still use DDR2 1066 on it (same with DDR2 800)
