Default Budget Build...Ordering Tomorrow...

So after years (yes years!) of waiting and hoping and money expectations falling short/being delayed (I won't go into the time that I bought a 42" Plasma TV when I finally had enough money) I finally have enough money for a budget build!

My Budget is $500 shipped to zip code 46845. I know it's not much, but right now, I'm gaming on an integrated graphics set on my laptop....or attempting to lol. I do not need a monitor, mouse, or keyboard....but I do need all the rest of the parts along with a flash drive and and cheap headset for gaming. I do plan to OC this sucker as well.

Here is what I'm thinking, but correct me if I am wrong:

LG DVD Burner: Newegg.com - LG Black 22X (CAV) DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 16X DVD+R DL 22X (CAV) DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2MB Cache SATA 22X DVD±R DVD Burner - CD / DVD Burners

Antec 300 Case: Newegg.com - Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Computer Cases

WD 250 GB HDD: Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar RE WD2500YD 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - Internal Hard Drives

ATI Radeon HD 4670: Newegg.com - MSI R4670-2D512 Radeon HD 4670 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Antec earthwatts 500W PSU: Newegg.com - Antec earthwatts EA500 500W ATX12V v2.0 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Power Supplies

OCZ Platinum 2x1Gb DDR2 1066 Ram: Newegg.com - OCZ Platinum 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

BioStar TForce P43 Mobo:Newegg.com - BIOSTAR TForce TP43D2A7 LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

E5200 Wolfdale:Newegg.com - Intel Pentium E5200 Wolfdale 2.5GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops

AData Flash Drive:Newegg.com - A-DATA 4GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) Model S701 2.0 4GB Black - USB Flash Drives

(2x) Rosewill 120mm Case Fans: Newegg.com - Rosewill RFA-120-WL 120mm 4 White LEDs LED Case Fan - Case Fans

Rosewill Headset: Newegg.com - Rosewill RH-001 3.5mm Circumaural Multimedia Stereo Headset

Right now is $514.27 shipped. Any way I can scrape off the $15? I know it seems petty, but already stretching the budget a little as a college student...

Should I get the extra case fans? or will the fans that come with the Antec 300 be enough (at least for now)?

Anything I forgot?

EDIT: Would this be better ram? Slower speeds, but tighter timings...
Newegg.com - OCZ SLI-Ready 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

It looks good. I would get the second set of ram you posted since the extra speed wouldn't make much of a difference.

To save money now you could try the 300 without the two extra fans and if you decide you need them, you can always order them later.

Also you could save a little money by getting this psu.

Newegg.com - Rosewill RP500-2 500W ATX12V v2.01 Power Supply - Power Supplies

Changed the PSU that you selected, and changed ram...also put the Flash Drive to a 2Gb version since I am only using it to flash bios and a little bit of school stuff....

Have the price down to $500.60! Any other suggestions are still welcome.

Changed to the 3850....Didn't realize it and the 4670 had equal stream processing units and it is 256bit compared to 128...

So this is the one I picked:
Newegg.com - POWERCOLOR AX3850 512MD3 Radeon HD 3850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

And this HDD cuz the previous one changed prices...basically the same thing though.

Newegg.com - Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250310AS 250GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - Internal Hard Drives

The interface really doesn't matter in this case... the performance is pretty much equal either way

agreed, for low end cards in general, i say its better to go nvidia because their cards are usually more optimized for games and u want the most out of ur cards.

the 9600GT and the HD 3850 should perform about the same in most situations (cept mainly Crysis), so i'd go with whichever you can get cheaper now

have you got a heatsink for that?? you're gonna need one if you wanna OC... have a look at this -> Newegg.com - Sunbeam CR-CCTF 120mm "Core Contact Freezer" CPU Cooler - CPU Fans & Heatsinks
