Default Broke

ok guys i need a little help.

What i want to do is upgrade my video card on my pos 100yr old comp. but with only a 4x AGP and 4 regular PCI slots its pretty much slim pickings. so i was wondering, what would be an affordable (under 100$) motherboard for me to upgrade to?

or, can i run a better video card on my AGP instead of my 32mb ATI rage ultra. (/shame)

help this no0b.

hmm, you dont need a new motherboard, agp 8x cards can run in a 4x slot unless you want PCI-E. i reccomend this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130002
for higher end gaming or this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814143027
for mid end gaming or this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814143040
for lower end gaming & this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130207
for a low budget & this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130198
for a VERY low budget

As you can figure all of these cards will give a significant boost in performance

Your sure that the 4x/8x will fit in my 4x/2x? It says in the manuel that all i can get is 32bit transfer at the highest.
