which of these 2 video cards is better, I need a card for my system.

EVGA: It has GDDR3 not DDR2 like the Sparkle

EVGA for sure. DDR3 is significantly faster than the Sparkle's DDR2. Plus it's a very high quality brand w/ good warranty program. Can't go wrong.

i think the evga one only has dvi ports so does this mean if I get it I will have to get a dvi monitor too?
