My 8600 GT won't display through the DVI port anymore so I guess it's dead, that being said I'm in the market to buy another video card.
This computer is an Acer and has the standard power supply that came with it (300 watt)
I was looking at getting a 4670 and was wondering if this is the best card I can get that won't require a new PSU
Any suggestions? I'm looking to play Wc3 CoD4 and Starcraft II and Diablo 3
There's also a 9600GT (there's a specific version) that requires no power connector also, buts its a bit ore expensive as far as I know.

i know there is better for the money but it only requires a 400w PSU and no additional power.
Overpriced like you said, but a good deal.
And if you kill the card, your choices are basically unlimited, if by then you have a better PSU.
