Default Best Processors for these boards

I have a ECS K7S5A Motherboard (Socket 462 / AMD) and a Gigabyte GA-7VKMLA Rev3.0 Motherboard (Socket 462 / AMD)

What is the best processors I can fit in them?

Umm, have you googled it? It depends on whether your motherboards support a 400FSB, or the older 333MHz FSB. But for socket A (socket 462), I suppose the best CPU you could get is the Athlon XP 3200+, which has been discontinued, with a few still drifting around on ebay. I'm too lazy to go do all the searching, go look it up yourself.

it would be cheaper to buy a new mobo with a new processor (like socket 939 which still uses DDR ram so it would be a pretty easy upgrade for you..)
