I'm upgrading my psu and I want to know what type of ATX I'm supposed to get, and someone told me that's how the psu connects to my mobo, how do i find out what atx it is then?

Cus theres a few like micro atx, etc.

my mobo is a D915GRO but even on intel's site, that mobo is not listed and i found someone else asking info on this mobo, and i searched it up and couldnt really find out much about it

Looking at an article, it showed that ATXV12 is used for intel p4 which i have....idk im confused

Pretty much ALL current PSU's will support any type of ATX based motherboard. Every PSU I've seen has the 4-pin connector with a 20-pin and extra 24-pin adapter.

You shouldn't have to worry about that. If anything, worry about the wattage your computer is going to consume, and wheter that PSU is able to consistantly supply that wattage.

ATX 2.0 or higher, you can use 1.3 but it won't supply good power for PCI-E

so atx is just how it connects to the mobo?
