Default Asus P5N-MX

Hey, i just bought some new RAM from the store to finally fire up my very first build. I put the ram in, made sure its seated well etc. made sure everything was hooked up. My Keyboard blinks when i first turn it on. but then the lights go off on it, also my monitor doesnt turn on at all. Everything sounds normal. What could this be?

im trying to use onboard graphics, and the motherboard is brand new. Is there a way to activate the onboard graphics or should it start working out of the box?

Default Re: Asus P5N-MX

should start working...made sure seated well or inserted properly
check cpu again...if all else fails, recheck mobo mount

also, don't connect anything extraneous if you have...try to go minimalist as possible to troubleshoot
