Need help disabling on board sound. went into bios/advanced and diabled
hd auto controller.Is there more to do? I installed a creative sound blaster
extreme gamer card.I get error messages-cannot execute audio driver is
incompatible and no supported audio device.I downloaded upgrades from
Creative but no luck.If I use my usb laptop speakers I have sound if on board
sound is enabled or disabled ! I am trying to hook up to Logitech G51 speakers.

There's no need to disable the integrated sound card on the motherboard. You should be albe to install a new soundcard without having to do so. It's just that you have to select the correct soundcard/audio device on the volume controls/sound controls in windows.
