socket am2 cpus are compatible with only 1 socket 939 motherboard, an asrock something.. and only with some special adaptor type thing..

and they say socket am3 cpus will be compatible with socket am2 motherboards (and not the other way around...)

ya.. no other situation where socket am2 and 939 work together..
