Default Is this alright for gaming?
After a lot of thinking and looking through the forum I decided to go for the below!

What does everyone think?

It's gonna cost about £850!!!

CPU
AMD® ATHLON® 64BIT X2 4200 2 x 512K L2 Cache (AM2 pin)

Memory
2048 MB CORSAIR DDR2-667 PC5300 - LIFETIME WARRANTY! (2x1GB)

Motherboard
ASUS® M2N4-SLI: DUAL DDR II, S-ATA II, 2 x x16 VGA, 2 PCI

Hard Drive
SATA II 250 GB HARD DISK @ 7200rpm 8mb cache

Graphics Card 1
256MB GEFORCE 7600GT PCI Express + DVI + TV-OUT

Graphics Card 2
256MB GEFORCE 7600GT PCI Express + DVI + TV-OUT

NO...its slow as ****. It needs a conroe and 2 video cards wont cut it you need three. Also 4 gigs of ram would be advised to run any modern games

Sli you must, will work fine...

Rec 800 speed memory, 2gb's perfect.

Rec Western Digital or Seagate HD.

Conroe is now similarly priced to an AM2 system and outperforms...look into it...use the "search" of this forum..

Its a joke Vader. A good processor, TWO good video cards and TWO gigs of ram hhmmm obviously it will be "alright for gaming" lol

I don't wanna spend £850 on a computer thats gonna be out of date in the next couple of months!!

850 pounds is a lot for a system like that...


is that just for the tower or does it also include a monitor?
