added more memory but with problems

i added an extra 2gigs of memory but when i added it and started it up my ati drivers failed and now video laggy on everything including mozilla.
i tried updating my driver but it tells me to return it to default video which i dont know how to

Specs? Try taking the added ram out and seeing if this fixes the problem.

Try reinstalling the software.

yes im using xp and it the same as what i had in just 1gb each instead of the 512 which i kept in just for a little more here a link to the ebay auction of the pair i got
