Default about to upgrade mobo/cpu.. help

I have found this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157081
specs: supports BOTH agp and Pci-e
supports dual channeling
1000mhz fsb
which is basically all i need since I have a 6600 gt (AGp) which I want to reuse and provide room for upgradeability.
I have heard many times that amd athlon stock heatsinks suck but I am not sure which fan to get.
is 80 mm ok? or does any size heatsink work?
Any reliable fan suggestions? I'm not planning to overclock but i want to run my system at a low and stable temperature under load

Upgrades: athlon 2000xp -> athlon 64 3200 venice
512x2(corsair pc3200,kingstonpc2100) -> 1gb corsair value pc3200 dual channeled
old mobo-> new mobo

Thanks for looking and helping

WorldIndustries is on a distinguished road

Default

80mm should be fine, considering the fan on my Intel is microscopic and makes an annoying whiney whirr sound.
