Default 6600GT vs X800 Pro

I went shopping lastnight. Just went to bestbuy to see what's what. The 6600GT is 300 Canadian and the X800 Pro is also 300 Canadian. They appear to be the same card except the X800 Pro has 256MB Ram. So which is the better card for my money.

Also, the 9800 Pro was still 400 Canadian and the 9600XT was still 250 or something. WTF. These are old cards so why are they still worth so much. More specifically, why is the 9800 Pro worth so much. 400 Canadian for an old card is unreasonable.

I used to have the X800 Pro and it sucked beyond compare for a current generation card. Its not much different than the 9800 Pro. Get the 6600GT.

*Edit* Prices on the 9800 Pro are increasing because there isn't much of a demand for that card anymore, so there isn't near as many of them out there as there once was. Kinda like PC3200 RAM is cheaper than PC2700.

$150 at newegg american prices. I'm canadian and I said 300 canadian for an eVGA card. newegg won't ship to me.

I did find a bfgtech 6600GT for $300 canadian aswell. and i believe they are traditionally more money.
