so I got that power supply and I am running two hard drivs and a 6800 ultra. It can run games and stuff but sometimes it just shuts off during normal operation. I have no clue what the problem is.
My best guess Is I didn't get dual 12+ v on my power supply.
Your computer just "randomly" dies on you? The rosewill PSU is a pretty cheap, low end brand. It could be unstable.
Take a multimeter and test the PSU. If the voltages fluctuate too much or are too far from the correct voltage (12V, 5V, and 3.3V) then you should probably buy a new PSU.
yeah just randomly dies, your prob right, I also got a 470 ocz powerstream but it just so happens that the aopen 6800 ultra requires 480 w, but I don't know, its just seams weird that it can't even run on it.
