i got a buddy that wants a new tower, he doesn't need ram or a hard drive, he said 300 but can go a little over if necessary

i would put a build together for him myself but i haven't done it in a while so im askin yall.

It would put him over budget, but if he doesn't mind spending the extra 60 ish bucks for it, then he could. I think the 7750 is a great deal right now though.

forgot to mention he wants a dedicated video card, something like a 9600gt or close to it.

Why does he want a dedicated vid card?

The 790GX is one of the best onboard chipsets

Yeah, the 790GX is pretty much almost a 9600GT anyway, it should be fine...
