Default Runtime error message

Hi,
Running HP Pavilion with MSN Windows XP Home Ed.

After Start up is complete get the following error message:

"Microsoft Visual C++
Runtime error
Program Files\common files\sonic\updatemanager\sgtray.exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way".

Any ideas on eliminating it?

Attached is Log file

Thx

The sgtray.exe process is a backup reminder, part of the Veritas application.

User may need this running as he/she may backup often or have a scheduled backup.

Wouldn't just go deleting items...

Check in your Add/Remove programs if you have this application installed and if you require it.

On a side-note, i am currently in training with HJT logs on *cough* another *cough* forum *cough* and you do have one nasty entry which you could remove, and that is:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WinAVX] C:\WINDOWS\system32\WinAvXX.exe

You can also run CCleaner and disable everything at startup except your anti-virus.
