does it stay up fast enough to take a screenshot?

Ok my friend is having major problems now. His crashes are more frequent then before. He can't stay on the computer long enough to run some programs etc. He can't get the screenshot but the end program is just that. I have seen it.

He got an error about video drivers as well and then the computer crashed. These crashes have been going on for a long time. I think this problem is more serious then spyware now. What should he do because he cannot stay on the PC long enough.

He may just end up reinstalling xp

Do you think it will solve the problems? Do I use the cd's that came with the manufacturer to reset computer to default settings or do I use a windows XP CD? If I need a win xp CD then can I use professional or does it have to be Home which is the default.

On a side note I am also getting the Hidden window problem but everything else is fine.

Here is a screenshot of the problem. My friend has exactly the same thing but he can't stay on long enough right now to run anti rookit. I ran the panda anti rookit and it came up with:

ok, so your friends computer is now running smooth except for this hidden window problem>? try this.. restart your computer and enter safe mode. this is done by pressing the F8 key at startup. once your in safe mode, go to the control panel and uninstall your Nvidia Drivers. restart the computer. see if that will get rid of your hidden window issue.

Won't there by any side effects when removing them?

Also he is experiencing a slower computer now after running all the anti spyware programs. And this is a major problem becuase he does not have a fast computer in the first place.

Unfortunately he cannot do that as his compuer jsut crashed 4 times in 10 minutes with the last crash being before it got to the windows XP loading screen. I personally don't think this is a sypware problem anymore as he has had the crashes before. I think this should now be moved to the hardware forum maybe? His computer was heatign up high as well.
