Default HELP! gksraemq? Computer nearly useless
You guys have saved my computer before, I'm hoping you can do it again.

I'm posting this from our uninfected laptop - desktop is almost unusable. Came home yesterday to hundreds of popups informing us computer was infected.

Windows XP, running paid AVG (which says everything is fine) now keeps popping up various windows telling me I'm infected. Computer running EXTREMELY slow, very unstable. I can't see my program list (start button only shows most recent used programs), also "My Computer" icon is gone from the desktop.

New toolbar in IE says "gksraemq."

HELP!

Go thru the msconfig section in the guide and see if you can make is usable

Start -> Run is not an option, along with not seeing my Programs folder when I hit Start, I can't see Run either.
