Default Problems with iPod

Hey guys,

I've got a problem with my Ipod.

I was listening to it and suddenly it came up with the screen 'Use iTunes to Restore' so I plugged it into my PC and iTunes pops up and says 'iTunes has detected and iPod in recovery mode. You must restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes' so I click restore then my ipod says do not disconnect but the theme on the ipod is not normal and very plain.

Then the ipod restarts and a status bar pops up on the ipod and gets three quatres of a way through then restarts and goes back to the 'Use iTunes to Restore' screen.

This is so annoying and has never happened before.

I've tried various ways found on the internet but nothing works. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Thanks.

Gil

It is all fixed now. I don't know how but left it over night then tried a couple times this morning then left it for a bit longer and then tried it just now and it working fine again!

Very strange.

Unless he's getting the NEW version, don't bother... My Zune 30 is like carrying a brick around. It's unneccairly large. 30 GB for 100 bucks is good, but that's about the only advantage.

I would love to have a Zune. I was waiting for them to come out over here but didn't have the patience. Nothing has been mentioned about the release date for Europe and it has been out for ages now so I gave into Apple.

Again, I hope you're talking about the Zune 4 or 8, and not the original Zune 30. I wish I hadn't bought one... The wireless is pretty much useless. I have yet to use it... Battery life is horrid, unless you have wireless and EQ turned off. It is WAY too big, thick-wise. It's like carrying around a large deck of cards. Software sucks. There are no firmware or software alternatives.

I think the only advantages it has is that there is still new firmware and features being developed for it, and it is compatable with all Zune models.
