| I got my new toy/business tool yesterday. htc Touch 850 I am extremely happy with it, and I was getting fed up of carrying around a seperate PDA, Phone and MP3 player. I will most likely pick up a 4Gb memory stick so i can store media on it.

| Yes This the the first time I have had a PDA / Mobile Phone. Since I have been using both a PDA and Mobile phone since about 2002 (okay, mobile phone as bee much longer), the thing that has annoyied me in the past the amount of mucking around with having to put in all my contact from my PDA over to my phone. And various numbers and address details being out of date on one device, but not on the other. Not that i have a PDA and mobile phone in one, every thing is going to be much easier for me.

| My friend just got a similar PDA/phone. It's nice that you can get Internet anywhere, but I personally would rather have my PDA separate. I have a Dell Axim X50v and nothing since the Axim has had quite the same amount of power (Intel XScale 624MHz + Intel 2700G) combined with a super high resolution VGA 3" screen (640x480). With CF and SD slots, I have a 16GB CF for my videos and music and I can swap my SD card between my PC, camera, PDA, and anything else. The only downside is I need to find WiFi hotspots when I'm away, but usually when I'm away I end up at a hotel, which usually has WiFi. For a phone, I just have a cheap TracFone, but if I were to get a new one (unlikely) I'd want one that worked as a Bluetooth modem (so I could connect it to my PDA/laptop and browse the Internet). |
