Default MP3 player, long battery life, no screen?

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to ask but ....

Does anyone know of a mp3 player with long battery life. With say 4gb minimum. It's real hard to find anything by searching the web. Apple, creative etc dominate the results.

I did manage to find the b153 with an amazing 150 hours of battery life, but there's a few complaints about service & couple of other things.

I don't need a screen. All I want is play/pause, stop, next track. Able to play mp3 files of any bitrate. Just simplicity. I guess a larger version of the shuffle?

Am I dreaming?

Today almost everything has a screen which limits the battery life. If you are lucky you might be able to find some old ScanDisc players which didnt have much of a screen and lasted around 50 hours on constant use.

If you found one with 150 hours that will probably be the best thing out there.

So you don't have to charge it a lot =).

It's a 'Sandisk' actually, Mak . Sorry, noticed that, and that's a pet peeve of mine when somebody says "scandisk" rather than "sandisk" (happens a lot at work when I'm explaining MP3 players to people, lol).

Meh. ScanDisk or SanDisk. They sound the same. I have one and i still don't know how to pronounce it.

There also might be a factor in their researching methods. Some companies base their "Battery Life" on their "awesome scenario". So, they will play mp3s will horrible quality all of the time (50Kbps) without flipping forward, back, scanning through songs, LOW volume, et cetera. Which, in my opinion, is hardly a real case for marketing... but, whatever.

A friend of mine has an iRiver T10 and swears by it. He listens to his hip hop at fairly "louder than average" levels as well. He is always pausing and flipping between songs. He hasn't really had the need nor the chance to tell me exactly how long the average is, but I always see him with it on and listening. I would say about 30hours or so (35hours perhaps??)
Can't speak for their software backend and their functionality though.

As a side note:

Yea, for me it is 'verbiage'. I hear 'verbage' MORE than often and it drives me bananas.
