| Re: iPhone 3G vs. iPhone 3G S Is the 3G S being released in Australia this week too? If so they also have a 32 GB version which you might want to wait for.
EDIT: nvm...just saw your posts in the other thread about 3G S.

| Re: iPhone 3G vs. iPhone 3G S Unless you have a lot of music you like to listen to on your iphone or travel I do not see the point in having so much HDD space? I say travel because I could see people putting movies on the phone. But other then those two things what else?
I have the 8GB one and I have about 5 pages of apps (all games pretty much), some music and some videos and I am just now using half of my 8GB.
Looking forward to 3.0 firmware.

| Re: iPhone 3G vs. iPhone 3G S The 16gb is only 50 bucks more, might as well. It's cheaper than the 8gb was a couple weeks ago.
Besides, I know I could easily fill 16gb with a tiny portion of my music collection.

| Re: iPhone 3G vs. iPhone 3G S Yea, 16 GB is nothing. I have it completely full with only about half of my music collection. Audiobooks take up quite a bit of room. Also, movies are about 1.5 GB each, so if you have movies on it they add up quick to hog space. I know I could fill a 32 GB easily.

How could 16 GB of music be a tiny portion of your music? I could only imagine how long it would take to listen to 16 GB of music?

16gb is maybe 10% of my music. Haven't been able to get all of it in one place to find out exactly how much I have.

EDIT: nvm...just saw your posts in the other thread about 3G S. | 29th of June. Currently holding out for that one as there is not iPhone3G 16Gb left in stock.
However at the same time, I am going to see if we are going to get any price movement on the iPhone 3G 8Gb. If there is a big price change on the iPhone3G series, then i will be picking one of those up as appose to the S series.
