how to serve ringtones to cell phones?

Hey, it's my first post here, i tried to pick the most appropriate forum to ask this....so go easy on me if it's not.

I am looking to find out how to to actually serve ringtones from my site. I've been looking into SMS and WAP, but it's still really unclear what you actually need to do. the most I've found is that WAP is pretty much dead.

Bascially, we are going to be offering ringtones on our site for purchase. After the purchase is made, we want to send the ringtones directly to the user's phone.

Any advice or pointers or links are greatly appreciated.

It is a very complicated process.

You need a WAP server with weird pages and stuff.

It comes with a bunch of stuff, including a ringtone store....
