Good Iphone story

I was due for a upgrade, and my old phone has lived a long useful life but still works well. but I decided I would look at the Iphone G3 for a replacement. I planned to get the 8gig for $199, not too expensive and useful for what I need. so I leave my house at 5 before 8 AM when they opened and figured with the line they would be sold out anyway, but I waited non the less. I finally got close to the door with only 2 couples in front of me and they guy in the store pops his head out and says, all they have left is 4 16 gig phones and that's it. so he asked who in line is getting a phone. I put my hand up anyway but was going to order the 8 gig like I already explained. anyway 3 of the first 4 people where getting phones and that made me the 4th phone recipient ...cool but I didn't want to spend the $300 for the 16 gig but OK, anyway the guy right behind me seemed a little upset and I just minded my own business. and then he goes up to the couple first in line and says I'll give you $200 for your place in line...They refuse, then he goes up to $300 then $400 then finally hit $500... and then they refuse???? the guy in front of me says he will take it, and out of nowhere, his girlfriend hits him. Then he says..it's a gift, so he can,t and that leaves me hehehehe He hands me $500 and I say enjoy your phone! LOL figuring I was going to order anyway I just left before he changed his mind, Good thing I did. 30 minutes later a friend in the next town who was waiting in line called me to see if I got one, said the store he was at just got a FedEx delivery with 20 more 16 gig phones.. So I drove out there and got my free phone and all the extras with still money left over hehe. It turns out it was good I left because the store I got the $500 from also got another FedEx delivery, and the guy who gave me the money was still there when it came LOL he had to be ****ed. Now I am having fun with my new Iphone. It isn't so much this guy wanted this phone so much that surprises me, it's that everyone else turned him down for $500 and the phone was only $300..... something just ain't right with people these days, It's just a phone and at worst you have to wait a week to get one if you ordered it.... Well glad they where idiots, because I was smart enough to take the money and get the phone and hour later anyway.

Yes I am "that dude" LOL feel free to mirror it, I still can't believe I got the Iphone for free and paid the first bill with all the change. this phone has tons of things in it I never knew about, and the internet is pretty fast, My old phone could only get the net mobile web browsers that gave limited access to websites, and the Iphone gives a choice of of the mobile or the entire site to browse the net with. only thing I haven't been able to do is run Java apps yet, still got to figure ou if it can do that or not. It's kind of funny because I seen someone I have not seen in a while, and when he seen my Iphone he was telling me about some guy that got paid for his place in line LOL I think I'm getting a local legacy here. The GPS is pretty cool but not near as useful as the Garmin I got a month ago. I've never been a fan of apple or the Ipod but they do make a cool phone.
