ok i am thinking about getting a black berry with t mobile black berry 8700g to be exact what could i do with it . what type of apps could i get for it linux ?

Hi Blueprint,

What features are you looking for in particular? I'm not a huge fan of Blackberry as there devices always seema bit 'last year'. Plus they dont sell in the sort of volumes HTC/Nokia/Sony Ericsson sell so cant afford to use cutting edge technology /features or even the same hardware quality.

Something like always-on mail would let you get email/calendar/contacts etc on your own phone and you could pause the emails so you dont get bugged with work after hours.

You can get a trial of the POP3 version from Work Out Of Office Ltd. : Always-On Mail Internet Edition
and the exchange/Domino version is on there somewhere too.
