True black: the LEDs are off. Fake black: all current LCD screens - the LEDs are on and therefore look gray.
Anyway, I want one! Only $63,425 USD - what a bargain - we can all get one... I wish...

The sad part about the 103" tv is that my 30" Moniter has a better resolution then it...

here's a similar question: would you play a fps on a 30" or an 103", both with their own resolutions
