Default nVidia CPU's

Source

This one is aimed at handheld devices in the same way that Atom is.

The chip itself comes in a 144mm2 package, not die, and can do 720p encode and decode at 14MBps. It supports the same last gen features as much of the current GeForce line, can do AA and AF, and will support OpenGL ES 2.0.
I wonder what devices it'll go for. :|

Nvidia and VIA need to hook up and see what they can come up with. Between the two of them, they might actually ab able to make a viable third CPU choice. VIA's new chips look good, but I doubt they will have much of an impact... with Nvidia's base, that could radically change.

I like Trotter's idea. Both parties have something to bring to the table. Via has the most energy efficient cpus around, team that up with the 3d power of Nvidia's line up and you could have something really special.

It would be a good investment for Nvidia to do so.
