| Re: The Next-Gen Review Thread! lol I might just start shopping for a new case i guess. I'm way too finnicky though. I'd like something that fits two 3 x 120 rads internal with pumps and reservoirs. (I hate fillports >.> They just look too ghetto, Although I did see that dangerden has a pretty cool looking custom fillport reservoir)
anyhow I guess I'll wait for the 1GB cards then. I'll just regret it later if I don't anyway. My problem is i'm too darned impatient lol

Well I cant use it for at least 3 days. My current psu cant handle it and although my new psu (corsair 550vx) will be here tomorrow I'm leaving for a 2 day camping trip as a short get away. With my psu in all I will have left for my next pc is the cpu, mobo and hard drive. Funny those are the most important components. And I'm not really sure if I will get a performance boost out of my current machine by putting the 4850 in. Sure its fast but I only have a gig of ram in it and the Opteron isn't that fast anymore. |

| Re: The Next-Gen Review Thread! IT has become increasingly clear that if you grab a single 4850 or 4870 and overclock it, it is able to keep up with and in many cases meet the GTX 280.. (Well within an acceptable Margin)
And now you factor in the price of all three cards and there is absolutely no reason to buy nvidia.
Well, of course, unless your a fanboy.. |

| Re: The Next-Gen Review Thread! Yup, and the 4850 has been shown to clock to 900mhz on air cooling, just like the 3850 was able to
I'm hoping for high 900mhz, possibly 1ghz under water .....may radiator comes tomorrow so I'll be able to get her underwater

| Re: The Next-Gen Review Thread! Nah, we don't like the 9800+
This only for 4850/4870 or 260/280 setups. |
