Default New Intel P45 motherboards are out at newegg

Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!


And the prices for these new motherboards are not bad

p45 chipsets are 65nm so they can reach some nice FSB's if you got a nice board.

Crossfire, you would watn x38/x48 chipset for its double x16 lanes, p45 splits the single x16 lane so its x8 and x8 when crossfiring. Its certainly better than p35's x16 +x4 though.

Very true, but one thing to keep in mind is that these P45 boards have PCI-E 2.0....so when it splits up into 8x + 8x it's the same as PCI-E 1.1 16x+16x.
