im not completely sure on the ACC thing. i just mentioned it because one of the reviews( i forget which one) i read mentioned it.
but i think that if it did work, ACC would have the highest chance(but still low) of unlocking the 4th core/L3 cache on the VERY earliest chips due to supply and demand or yield issues or something. it was speculated that early propus quads were just danebs with the L3 cache disabled, so it might have been possible on some early ones. all the more recent propus quads are supposed to have no L3 cache whatsoever on the die.
these x3's are probably the quads that have no L3 cache, so if you unlock anything it might be the 4th core only. unless they were in really high demand that amd would have to take a daneb, disable the cache, and lock a core, i dont think youd be able to unlock both.
