| Hahahahaha, that's the stupidest ****iing thing I've ever heard of... I mean...50gbs for a bluray. Why not just get an hard drive camera that holds a load more? You're not going to get higher resolutions from this than you get from a normal HD camcorder...its just going to cost more.

| The idea of a blu-ray camera is similar to the idea of a DVD camera...except for the benefits of DVD camera, which is convenience and price. Anyone who can drop the money for an HD camera would prefer tapes for reliability, reuse, and to work with their existing decks.

| i doubt Blu-ray will ever be the market standard. its too late for its time, like mini-discs. the future is in solid-state memory such as SD cards.

| i remember two kids at school getting mini disk players, but no one wanted one when mp3 players came out. especially when you could just get the music off p2p instead of having to buy the albums.
