Thumbs up Core 2 Duo E7200 is out on newegg !!!!!

Newegg.com - Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 Wolfdale 2.53GHz 3MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor - CPUs / Processors

This is the new budget Wolfdale processor, it is $4 cheaper than E4700, and it is just slightly behind E6750 in terms of performance (At stock speeds)

Also, this processor consume low power, and it does overclock very well

Clocking is not quite as good as the e8400s and e8500s but yeah they are great processors for the money.

Mostly I've seen the E7200s do around 3.8-4ghz on voltages under 1.4V...and they don't seem to perform any better in games than the E6xxx series. So if you already have a decent clocking E6xxx chip then don't bother upgrading to this one. In 3dmark06 cpu tests they seem to give the same cpu score that E6xxx series do clock for clock.

Just saying this because I was looking into selling my E6750 and grabbing one of these, but it just aint worth it for me.

It's good for its price. I wish it had been available two months ago when I bought my E2180. I would be very happy to get 3.8-4ghz out of a $135 processor.

There will come a day, such a day when all will be told more than they wish to know, what one hears may explain the past, it may explain the future, but it has never made a difference either way and it will change nothing. Some day.... But that is not this day, and I don't know when, I just don't know.

Wouldn't this qualify as new technology/product?
