^ it should off load the physx load from cpu to gpu. and thus incresing your frames, cause it's one last thing the cpu does not have to do.

folding and physx both run off cuda.

If its slow rendering physx, its slow in folding too.

GAH. SO A 8400GS IS NO GOOD FOR PHYSX??

Wow. Why does folding HAVE to come up every time anyone mentions anything CUDA related.

My question is do you need a good video card for PhysX, is it that demanding.

i would get a 6 somehting or up like an 8600gt/gts, preferably id go for an 8800gt, or 9600gt the gso also looks good if i can get me a nice rti sli board i will pop my rma card in.

zedman, folding and physx both utilize cuda.

A card that sucks at folding, will suck at physx.

Thats why it keeps coming up. Plus when not playing games, you can use it to fold and help out the team...simple stuff.
