Actually, do you need that good of a card for PhsyX? What if i get a 8400GS for that little PCIEX1 slot?

its actually a x4 slot andy ou could fit any card in it the x4 will take anyoen its shorter but is empty at the end. so there is nothing stoping you from puttign a full 16x card in there.

If all you use it for is folding 24/7. Then yes I guess the 8400 GS would be enough. See if you can find a cheap 8600 GT or 8600 GTS or something.

Gah. I said for PhysX dudes... not Folding....
(Yeah yeah i know you can equate crappy folding performance with crappy PhysX performance but i was just wondering if it was that intensive...)

So with physx running on one card and the other managing everything else. Does that mean you will be able to attain higher FPS?
