If you have cards in SLi it runs both as physx.

If you disable SLI, one for gaming and the other for physx. If you have a tri-sli mobo well two cards in SLI and one for physx.

but i would still only need a regular sli bridge right? the third card would need to be bridged am i correct?

No, the third card doesnt need to be bridged.

cuda reads any cards that are installed in the system, bridge or not. if it didn't it wouldn't be possible to fold with dual cards on an xfire mobo.

Sure you can, any card that supports cuda can be used.

this reminds me of the tiger blog for the p6t hes like oh you can have sli gtx260's or 280s and have 1 8800gt for physx im like no you cant, the gtx260 covers the final slot lol as the last pci-e slot is directly below another pci-e x16 slot
