Seems really good. Are the price drops going to be immediate or after awhile? I've noticed that the GTX has already dropped like $30. Was going to get a 9800 GTX for my build, but this GTX+ looks promising.

This isn't coming out until July, so that gives AMD a couple of weeks headstart before this comes out.. but this is a nice card

So my main question for Nosboost-man: still going AMD GPU's w/ x38 or no?

nvidia is just too darned expensive for my taste right now... ati is a SUPER contender for such a cheap price.. with the 9800gtx+ coming out.. i know we'll see some hd4850 and 4870 price drops... and i look forward to those...

i'll be able to buy 2 4870's for the price of 1 gtx280

Dude.. get an X38 and flash it! no x48.. waste on the money!

I think it works on every x38 that has a variant of an x48 (but ultimately its your decision)

actually.. maybe i should get red... i am going with ati this time around... hrmm.. but then i don't think red looks good with purple (the uv light)

so i think i may do green... or blue... so hard to choose.. but i got another few days before i make my color decision.. lol

bit-tech.net | Nvidia has 9800 GTX+ : 55nm G92
Radeon HD 4850 512MB and GeForce 9800 GTX+ Performance Quick Take

NOTE: The second link have 9800GTX+ benchmarked, and it seems that it performed better than HD4850 most of the time

And they are saying here that 9800GTX+ use 55-nm manufacturing process

I found a new review for 9800GTX+ that shows similar results
