At $1200, this mouse better make me a really good cup of coffee......

OKay, I will confess that I am one that might consider the Optimus Maxiumus Keyboard, but $1200 for a mouse!!!

How about a magnesium mouse? Have a feature where it heats up if you squeeze it too hard and it'll start on fire and scorch or retinas .

You could make a carbon fiber mouse for pretty cheap. That much carbon fiber wont cost a thing. Then you could have a weight system in it like the G5 so you can tweak it's weight big time.

magnesium, now that's fun stuff, lots of attention when I'm machining that stuff.... Light a chip and drop it in a glass of water and watch it burn lol glad we don't see that stuff much any more.

If I framed house etc... instead of the remodeling I do, I would spend the money for this cats paw and hammer. Both can be purchased off the shelf at our local Farm&Fleet. Hammer's $200 \ cats paw's $100. It is a very popular hammer.

Ummm, I don’t care if this **** mouse was made of solid gold, I wouldn’t pay $1200 for it. I am sure there is a limited market for something like this (Optimus Maximus owners maybe?) but beyond that, I’m not sure who would plunk down that kind of cash for a mouse.

You'd be surprised. They probably would fall in line with the same people who would buy a grilled cheese sandwich with a vague picture of Jesus on it, or some celebrities crewing gum.

hardness is not the same as strength.
diamond is extremely hard. But it isn't the strongest material.
If you rub a tungsten hammer against a diamond, the tungsten will scratch.
But if you hit the diamond with it really hard, the diamond can shatter, while the hammer won't.
