Yankees Pitcher Cory Lidle Dies in Plane crash

It was a priavte jet and the pilot had at least 400 hours and reportedly crahsed into a building.

the plane was a Cirrus SR-20 Pictured below.

Im not in tears considering im a die hard red sox fan

I've actually met Corey Lidle a couple of times at charity golf outtings for the lukemia society. And I must say, he was one of the nicest yankees i've met and i've met many...

My thoughts are with his family... as well as the families of the others...

He seems like a great guy...

I care more about the plane. As I've said before; i shouldn't have to care about America. They won't ship computer parts to Canada; why should i give a darn about what happens there??

Would you guys care if Wayne Gretsky died?

It's sad. I'm a pretty close follower to MLB, but I don't think MLB really matters. It sucks to see somebody die like that, period.

Although, he wasn't a great pitcher -_-
