Why are some Firetruck/Ambulance names backwards?
Many times I've seen the names on a Firetruck or an Ambulance written backwards. Like, Ambulance would be shown as ecnalubmA or something...
Why?

But it is a very stupid idea. It should be that if you hear sirens and or see flashing lights, you pull over. You dont ID the vehicle first than pull over.....
