Default What is your data backup method?

What is your data backup method to ease the pain of reinstalling and reconfiguring programs on your personal computer when a problem occurs?

I have multiple drives. I keep installers on one and installs+ windows one another and now a third just for game installs. System restore is a failure. idk, I don't mind reinstalling every few months and I enjoy the clean feel afterwards. I do get pist if something stupid messes it up thou (windows @#$%!)

External Harddrive.
Lots of USB Flash Drives.
Lots of DVD-R's and CD-R's.
Redundancy is the key to a successful back Plan.

Well, its not really back-up, but my D-Link DNS-323 is good enough for my needs.... 1 TB of drive space possible, but in RAID1, it is only 500 Gig... I store all my junk there.

I do two things. First, I burn important documents to CD multiple times. I have copies of all my programs and apps. Secondly, I email all my important stuff to different web-based emails I use. That way they are not only not getting lost from my computer, they are getting backed up on a server somewhere. Sure, there may be a danger of my data getting stolen from yahoo or whatever, but somebody could take my CD's too. I usually do a clean format/reinstall about once a year.

Clean re install.

Takes a weekend to put the system back to how it was (just not slow).

Data is backed up via FPT to PC on LAN.
